Gagliole has been in the midst of a pretty big stylistic shift over the last handful of vintages, as proprietors Thomas and Monika Bär have moved towards wines of greater translucence and finesse than those of their earlier years. These changes take time to manifest themselves in full, but are quite evident in this set of new releases, which are among the most impressive I have ever tasted here.
