The finest auslese and two TBAs that Oliver Haag bottled from 2010 evoke memories of legendary vintages like 1990, 1988, 1985 and 1979. As I prefer elegance, balance and purity to sheer must weight, I gave the long gold capsule auslese #15 100 points as the finest of its ilk that I have ever tasted, but the two trockenbeerenausleses are also tantalizingly close to perfection. I tasted 21 rieslings from this estate in 2010 and each had an interesting story to tell, but these three will write history. Hats off!
