Zac Wasserman presented a fabulous collection of wines across his Frequency and Di Palermo labels. The wines are bold and always quite deep, but I find greater focus and energy than in some of his earlier offerings. There is no substitute for the perspective that is gained over time. For that reason, the Frequency wines are especially fine, while Di Palermo, where the focus is on Burgundy varieties, is still in its early stages.
