I was quite impressed with the wines I tasted from Epiphany, Fess Parker's Rhône-variety label. The wines are all tasty, but they are also made in a safe, middle-of-the-road style. While outstanding, many of these wines have the raw materials and potential to be more than just outstanding. But getting to the next level is going to require taking more risks. Still, I am pretty sure winemaker Blair Fox could do more here, if allowed.
