This small producer has turned out an excellent set of 2001s. Working with very low yields, Boglietti produces Barolos of notable concentration in a sleek, modern style that emphasizes ripeness of the fruit. While all the wines show high quality, the Case Nere comes across as the most complete of the group and is a wine uncommon harmony. Boglietti's Barolos should drink well relatively early for the vintage.
