This is an Italian release made with younger vines. The winery releases these wines three or four years after the harvest.
US releases are made with older vines. Most of the times these wines are decanted after 10 years of aging and rebottled before shipping to clear from sediment. The winery uses a cork with the stamp of the vintage to distinguish this release from the Italian. Currently there is no label distinction between an Italian release and a US release.
