Since Jochen Dreissigacker began cultivating his vineyards organically, his wines have gained in texture, nuance and vitality. This is particularly true of the 2013s, which should age even better than his 2010s and 2008s have done as they shed some of their baby fat and highlight more clearly delineated contours. As Dreissigacker harvested late and then declassified a portion of the single-vineyard crop in order to improve the quality of his standard bottlings, there will not be much available of the three wines portrayed here. Further, he has decided not to release them until May of 2015 so that they are not opened too soon by overeager clients.
