Elena and Zar Brooks’ entry-level wines are consistently among the Barossa’s best values, and their current set of releases keeps up the pace. Elena Brooks has a sure hand across a range of varieties, and I am especially impressed by her talent with Riesling, especially for the money. Her upper-end wines are exceptional but not too easy to find, while the “little” wines enjoy wide distribution, which is a blessing to wine lovers who prize bang for their buck.
