This is an up and down set of new releases from Collazzi, the Frescobaldi family's Chianti Classico estate just outside of Florence. When the wines are made in the style the land is suited to, without being forced, they can be lovely. On the other hand, when the team tries to make huge, international-leaning wines here the results are far less convincing. Also tasted: 2010 Ferro (Petit Verdot).
