There are plenty of highlights in this range from Chateau St. Jean. As always, the best of these wines offer high quality, solid value and are made in large enough quantities to be relatively easy to find. St. Jean fans will note the new Le Seul Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, which are meant to bridge the gap between the entry-level wines and the vineyard designates. Longtime winemaker Margo Van Staaveren has moved into a new role within Treasury overseeing all of the wines in Treasury's luxury wine portfolio, which is run out of Beringer's St. Helena facility, but will continue to make the wines at Chateau St. Jean.
