Longtime winemaker Mike Waller did a fine job on the 2020 Pinot Noirs at Calera. Naturally, the 2020s don’t have the definition or focused purity of the best years, but they are very well done for the vintage. I would prefer to drink the 2020s on the young side just to be safe. The 2021 whites will give readers a very good idea of what the vintage holds.
