This small project, which was launched just last year by brothers Guillaume and Arnaud Fabre, is already off and running. Guillaume is well known for his own winery, Clos Solène, which he established during his time as assistant winemaker at the highly regarded L’Aventure, and Arnaud’s full-time job is running sales and marketing at Law Estate. Working out of the former Clos Solène winery space that they share with Aaron Jackson (Aaron) at Tin City, the Fabre brothers produce small quantities of wines that, for now, come off as a bit more elegant than those Guillaume makes at his own winery. That’s not to say that the Benom wines are lightweights – far from it – but so far, they do lean to the slightly more graceful side, relatively speaking, for Paso Robles and compared to Clos Solène.
