I am not sure where to start with this lineup from Duncan Arnot and Nathan Roberts, as there are so many highlights. If forced to choose, I would single out the Pinots and Syrahs as being especially of note. But then again, the Trout Gluch Chardonnay is pretty special too. The only wines that are a bit variable are the 2015 Cabernets, which is not at all surprising given the challenges of that growing season. As always, Arnot and Roberts favor a minimalist approach in the cellar. The reds often (but not always) get a good dose of whole clusters, while new oak does not play an especially prominent role. At their best, the Arnot-Roberts wines are present-day American benchmarks.
