Antoniolo's 2012s are a step up from the 2011s. That's the good news. Still, these wines aren't as good as they could be. Antoniolo should be one of the great estates in Piedmont and all of Italy, to be frank. But what I see of late I can only describe as a lack of direction and focus. Hopefully, that won't always be the case.
