These are two very attractive wines from brothers Alessandro and Gian Natale Fantino. The two wines, both from the Dardi vineyard, are quite similar, except for élevage. The Barolo spent 7-8 months in French oak barrels and another 12 months in cask, while the Laboro Disobedient spent two years in 25 and 40hl casks. My impression is that the Barolo has a little more to give, but it also needs time in bottle to be at its finest.
