Little by little, Andreas Adams has expanded his vineyard holdings and now makes almost 25,000 bottles of riesling a year, almost twice the volume he produced when he returned to the family estate in the spring of 2006. What he generally does best are the kabinetts, in particular from the Hofberg site in Drohn. The richer style of the 2011 vintage played less well with the ethereal balance that his spatlese and auslese from that vineyard normally display.
