Peter Dipoli
The vintages line up nicely for Peter Dipoli this year; cool for Voglar and hot for Iugum. Dipoli's Sauvignon Voglar remains one of the most distinctive whites in Alto Adige because of its depth and texture, both of which dominate over the grassy, green character that is often seen in Alto Adige. The Merlot-based Iugum benefits from a warm, dry year that allowed the fruit to achieve considerable ripeness, something that can be an issue here.
