I thought the Farella Cabernet Sauvignon fared best in 2022, in line with many wines from Coombsville that are especially strong. Ultimately, though, the 2022s represent a point in a long-term trajectory that is among the most impressive in Napa Valley. Realm started as a virtual brand with no physical assets. Today, under the leadership of Scott Becker and Benoit Touquette, Realm has acquired numerous estate vineyards and winemaking facilities, assets that eliminate questions about future viability that impact so many other wineries.
