I continue to be impressed with the wines at Pio Cesare. The Barolos (and Barbarescos, too) are made in a slightly more classic style than was the case 10-15 years ago, which allows for the purity of Nebbiolo to reach the peak of its expression, even in slightly modest vintages. Both of these Barolos deserve attention.
