Pio Cesare's 2011 Barolos are solid, but they are also super-sized, a combination of the personality of the vintage and the Serralunga origins of the Ornato and most of the fruit in the straight Barolo. In this vintage, I have a preference for the Barbarescos, once a gain a reminder of how strong 2011 is over in Barbaresco.
