The most remarkable development here in recent years has been a very strong move towards a more classic style in both the Barolos and Barbarescos. Readers who have not tasted these wines in a few years might be shocked by how much the wines have moved stylistically. For a historic house with a number of single-vineyard wines, the new style works quite well in highlighting the essence of site.
