These may very well be the finest wines I have ever tasted from Luca Sanjust at Petrolo. From top to bottom, the range is so impressive. Specifically, the two versions of the Bòggina, the estate's 100% Sangiovese, have never been more precise. I loved them both. The flagship Merlot Galatrona is once again terrific. I found the Cabernet Sauvignon a bit vegetal for my taste, but that is a pretty small quibble at this level.
