This is a stellar set of new releases from Peter Michael. Winemaker Nick Morlet, and his brother, Luc, who consults, made all the right calls in 2017, as the Chardonnays and Pinots are very strong. The same is true of the Bordeaux-variety wines, which are all 2016s. Over the last few years, the Peter Michael wines have gained in finesse, and that is a big positive.
