The 2014 Paveil de Luze could turn out to be one of the hidden gems of the vintage. The de Luze family have made serious strides in quality over the last few years, including taking on a more non-interventionist approach in the vineyards. In 2014, the harvest took place between October 1 and 22. Vinification was done with pump-overs only and the wine is seeing only a modest 35% new oak. Simon Blanchard is the Consulting Oenologist. There is little doubt Paveil de Luze is a property to watch for the future.
