Although this estate's incomparable noble late-harvest wines have become, if anything, even more ethereal since Martin Franzen inherited the winemaking responsibilities in 2002, I have been a touch more critical of the dry rieslings. That said, the 2010s are much better than the 2009s. Yes, they are not as rich and succulent as they would have been a decade ago, but rather delicate and almost feminine, with a bright purity that looks north for its inspiration.
