MAHA is a project that Cris Cherry has separated from his more extensive Villa Creek portfolio to showcase his estate vineyard. These vines were planted in 2012 and are now being farmed using regenerative practices, which my article discusses at length. Rhône varieties fill this portfolio, and much like Cherry’s Villa Creek project, the wines display a level of purity and energy seldom found throughout the region. Gastronomic is a word that comes to mind. Considering the vines are just over ten years old, the future seems pretty bright.
