This is a gorgeous set of wines from Lucia, the Pisoni family's label for all of their wines that emerge from vineyards other than Pisoni itself. The Syrahs are the clear highlights among these 2012s. Over the last few years Jeff and Mark Pisoni have been experimenting with whole clusters, an approach that seems to bring layers of dimension and complexity to the wines. In 2012, all three Syrahs are exceptional.
