Knighton is a gorgeous hillside estate perched all the way at the top of Old Toll Road in Calistoga. Keith Emerson makes the wines. The 2015 Cabernets are both terrific. Sadly, production is down 60%. As good as the wines are, they are perhaps a bit too tamed for mountain Cabernets. It would be nice to see a little more hillside character. Even so, these are undoubtedly very attractive wines.
