Brothers Bernd and Andreas Spreitzer are an excellent team. While Bernd has become the public face of the estate, Andreas works quietly behind the scenes in the cellar. Together they make what are certainly the most subtle, charming and easily drinkable wines from the Rheingau. In fact, you might mistake them for Mosel rieslings, albeit with a touch more density and a savory spice character that always calls for a second glass. While the wines from the Doosberg vineyard are more modern in style, often using wild fermentations, those from Lenchen remain classical Rheingau.
