This year's range from Gros Ventre is a bit smaller than normal. Like many smaller wineries, Gros Ventre was faced with the hard realities of drastically reduced demand from restaurants during COVID-19 lockdowns. That led to the decision to bottle less wine. The highlights are the Pinots, which are done with spontaneous fermentations and aged in barrel for 17 months with no racking, and the no fining or filtration at bottling. These are gorgeous wines with a ton of coastal influence.
