Gosset does not have any new vintage releases in the market this year, but there are some terrific choices among these entry-level and mid-tier offerings. As always, the Gosset Champagnes are done in a dry, brisk style with relatively low dosage, although these wines are all more accessible than the vintage wines tend to be. It would be nice to see Gosset add disgorgement dates to their wines, as is now pretty much standard in Champagne these days. These wines are identified by lot numbers that are etched onto the backs of the bottles in the faintest print possible. The first three digits of the lot numbers represent the year and week of disgorgment.
