I was blown away by the wines I tasted with the team at Dragonette. This is a seriously impressive range. Some of the wines are perhaps a bit pushed in style, which I personally enjoy less, but all the wines are distinctive and full of character, from the four Sauvignon Blancs all the way through to the Pinot Noirs and Syrahs. In Santa Barbara, I am looking for an expression of place, and these wines deliver that in spades. Stylistically, the wines lean into the richer end of the spectrum.
