Raised entirely in concrete tanks, these wines show impressive complexity and, for the last couple of decades, have been among the best produced in Gigondas. Owners Christine and Eric Saurel converted their farming to biodynamic practices in 1999, making them among the southern Rhône’s pioneers of the practices. With almost 33 hectares in Gigondas, the Saurels produce a goodly amount of wine that enjoys wide distribution around the world, making it easy to track them down. They also deliver outstanding value given their consistently high quality.
