This 3.75-hectare monopole on the outskirts of Pommard village was bought in 2017 by Harvard professor Denise Dupré and Mark Nunnelly, former managing director of a Boston-based capital fund. A crane looms over the adjacent site where a luxury hotel is currently under construction, due for completion at the end of 2022, and there is, of course, a winery facility where this wine will eventually be vinified. The 2020 is the second vintage that I have tasted, this time at the cellar in Meursault where it is temporarily vinified. Dupré and Nunnelly also bought parcels in Nuits Saint-Georges Les Roncières that I sampled, though it has not been decided whether these will be commercialized. Based on the quality that I tasted, I see no reason not to do so.
