Like so many of her colleagues, Cathy Corison describes 2014 as a vintage with small clusters and small berries. The Corison 2014s all show the effects of drought in their ripe fruit, yet remain very much in the classic Corison mold. I found these three 2014s much more approachable than they typically are at this early stage. Fans of the estate will also want to check out the new Cabernet Sauvignon Sunbasket as well as the Cabernet Franc, also from Sunbasket, that Corison bottles under her Helios label (reviewed here separately).
