According to Enzo Brezza, the biggest change in climate in recent years has been September temperatures that are on average 3 degrees Celcius higher than the norm. Brezza gave his 2015s 25-30 days on the skins, including post-fermentation maceration. Malolactic fermentation took place in cement and the wines spent two years in cask. In tasting, the 2015s come across as a bit light, lacking in depth relative to the best years, and marked by the elevated temperatures of the summer. I would prefer to drink the 2015s sooner rather than later.
