Beaulieu Vineyard is now part of Treasury Wine Estates, which should, in theory, expand the fruit sources that are available to winemaker Jeffrey Stambor. Needless to say, it will be interesting to see how things shape up over the coming years. One of the more recent developments is an as-yet-unreleased selection from Georges de Latour called Rarity bottled only in magnum that will be released with the 2013 vintage and that will become the new top wine in the range. The 2013s are solid across the board. According to Stambor, 2013 was the earliest vintage on record at this venerable Rutherford winery.
