Pierre Cornu is the winemaker at the helm of this well-known Domaine based in Ladoix. They farm 15.5 hectares of vines predominantly in the northern part of the Côte de Beaune, 13.5 hectares of Pinot Noir and 2.0 hectares of Chardonnay. Most cuvées undergo a barrel maturation of around 18 months. I felt that these wines just lacked the length of other producers’ wines and occasionally came across a little blunt, although the Corton-Bressandes did show promise.
