While Clare Carver and Bryan Marcy’s 2017 are undeniably full-flavored, they also show a distinctly elegant streak, with well-managed tannins and highly perfumed personalities. Their wines, which always show a deft interplay of oak and fruit, are very easy to enjoy young but have a solid track record for rewarding patience, which I am sure will be the case the case with the ‘17s.
