This is the first wine I have tasted from Aurélien Lurquin, a young grower based in the village of Romery recommended to me by Aurélien Laherte. In its first release, Lurquin's Pinot Meunier Les Crayeres du Levant is not fully formed, and yet it is the kind of wine that is very hard to put down. I can't wait to see how things develop here.
