I was blown away by these new releases from Gerhard Kracher. The 2015 vintage presented Kracher with the conditions to make no fewer than 12 TBAs, and he knocked it out of the park with those wines. As always, the TBAs are numbered in order of concentration, depending on the number of wines made in each vintage. For example, in 2015 there are 12, but in 2016 only three. The numbers have no relationship to each other across vintages. For the TBAs, the Nouvelle Vague wines are aged in French oak, while the Zwischen den Seen wines are done in steel. Beyond the TBAs, there is plenty more to explore here.
