This set of new releases from Aurélien Laherte is full of highlights. Vinification in neutral oak and low dosage seems to bring out the inherent natural richness of the sites Laherte works with. Although most of the wines are Pinot Noir or Meunier-based, Laherte is equally skilled with Chardonnay. His Blanc de Blancs is one of the most memorable wines I tasted this year.
