Marchesi di Grésy remains a classic. There are three Barbarescos, now staggered across three different vintages. The Martinenga is always the most perfumed Barbaresco in the range; the Gaiun is soft and plush, with a bit of French oak suppleness, while the Camp Gros is the darkest and most structured of the wines. As always, the house style favors elegance over power. These wines always need a few years in bottle to shine.
