I was deeply impressed with the 2019s I tasted from Roberto Voerzio. The wines show the more classic aesthetic that is now the norm here, with a vision that is better articulated than what I tasted in 2017 and 2018. The 2019s are medium in body, wonderfully translucent and highly expressive of place, with none of the bombastic textural intensity that once defined these wines.
