Jean-Max Manceau has been the president of the local grower syndicate since 1999. Moreover, for 28 years he was the enologist at Château de la Grille until Gosset sold it to Baudry-Dutour in 2009. Only then was he able to devote more time to his wife’s property, which the two had already managed since 2002. Before, most of the grapes had simply been sold to local merchants.
