Paolo Meroi and his son Damiano have turned out a gorgeous set of wines. Over the last few years, the Merois have been assisted by Mirko Degan, who came from Borgo del Tiglio. The Merois also count on the advice of their long-time friend and neighbor Enzo Pontoni of Miani. Not bad for an all-star team. Meroi and Pontoni recently partnered to purchase a number of vineyards which they are each developing for their own wineries. It will be interesting to see where things develop from here.
