Owner/winemaker Brad McLeroy’s style favors elegance. He did an admirable job handling the inherent richness of the vintage in 2018. While the wines here tend to a darker fruited style than usual, they retain the energy that I’ve come to expect, while the minimal use of new oak has helped to keep the tannins in check. That said, these new releases will probably require more patience than is often the case.
