The property comprises 14 hectares of vineyards situated between 300 and 350 meters altitude in the Dentelles de Montmirail, meaning there’s plenty of wine to go around. That’s not the case with many producers of similar-quality wines in the appellation. Domaine du Grand Montmirail is a source of widely available, top-notch Gigondas that sell for very fair prices. Whole clusters are the rule here, and the wines are raised in concrete vats, with quality consistently on the rise for years. This is a go-to estate for lovers of traditional Gigondas.
