Prà is one of the few producers who excels with both Soave and Amarone, which is quite rare. The Soaves are generally tense wines of structure and energy with the exception of the old-vine Colle Sant'Antonio, which is made in a richer, riper style from the partial drying of grapes on the vine. Over the last few years, the reds have been super exciting. Those vines are only planted in 2001, so there is every reason to believe the best is yet to come. The Amarone, is generally a rich, dense wine with tons of personality. Within the context of Veneto wines, Prà remains under the radar and deserving of wider recognition.
