Readers looking for savory, dark-fruited Pinot Noir will find plenty to like from this McMinnville-based producer, whose wines capture the power, structure and earthy depth that distinguishes the region. That said, they don’t lack for energy, especially if they’re allowed to age for a bit. The hefty 2018s here showcase the house and regional style quite nicely, as did the 2017s, and the wines should age well on their richness. These are serious Pinots, sometimes on the brooding side, but not overtly so, and best suited for serving with food as opposed to easy sipping.
